The final update to the Devil May Cry doujinshis database is done! It now contains all doujinshis I own or have ever owned. 126 doujinshis (+3 duplicates) by 47 circles for a total of 5171 pages.

I don’t plan on buying new DMC doujins unless I find something I’m really interested in, so I don’t think any new updates are forthcoming, except for updating the status of the books I will soon sell off.

Cosmetic changes

I’ve tweaked the MediaShelf script supporting the Devil May Cry doujinshis database to make a few cosmetic changes. I’ve switched out the Silk icons for Fugue ones, since I was getting tired of the Silk icons, and, while looking at the code, I found how to make a little change in the CSS that now makes a book icon appears next to the title of every doujinshi in the various lists and in the breadcrumb menu. The fact that I am excited by this proves that I am a giant nerd.

6 more doujinshis added to the database, which clears the scanned backlog left over from before the hiatus.

Now to scan in and add what I’ve bought after that.

The Devil May Cry doujinshi reviews have been updated and the hiatus is lifted! I have made it to the psychological number of 100 doujinshis entered into the database. I believe I have maybe 30 more to go. Scared to go count.

Now that April Fools is over…

Updated Devil Child with

• a new, smaller Firefox banner;
• corrected links in the Livejournal Icons and Fanlistings pages (so many fanlistings gone );
• redone footers on all pages;
• an updated About page;
• rejected spam entries in the guestbook and tweaked my Contact form against spam, again.

Yes, my Devil May Cry fansite, Devil Child, has been updated! Please don’t all pass out at once.

• Headers reworked to change the order of the pages’ titles, among other things;
• Stylesheet tweaks, which include new list bullets!;
• New print stylesheet for fanfictions;
• Counter removed;
• About page modified;
• Contact form version 2;
• Error pages changed: 403, 404 and 500;
• Devil May Cry Play Diary in the Library;
• Fanlistings updated;
• Links and affiliates updated;
• Fanfictions now use the IntenseDebate comment system for feedback! You don’t even need to create an account to leave a comment of your favourite story!

Enjoy the update! Sadly, without a scanner, I cannot update the doujinshi reviews, so that part of the site is still on hiatus.
